For modern learners in today’s changing technological landscape, the ability to adapt in the face of uncertainty, change, and novelty is a critical skill needed to navigate the constant shaping and reshaping of our learning environments. My experience at the UCSF School of Pharmacy during the pivotal transformation of the PharmD curriculum has opened up the opportunity for great change. This paradigm shift has granted us the ability to reshape the traditional infrastructure by directly influencing how our students learn and how our educators teach. This session will provide an interactive chronicle of the emergence and continuing evolution of instructional design and multimedia in the PharmD curriculum. It will address the development of new ID services and implementation of various technological tools.
