Bio
My experience with UC started as an international student at UCLA in 1990, and my career there began in 1993. Shortly after, I joined UCI’s Office of Information Technology, and have been on a continuously evolving and engaging roles due to the dynamic nature of our campus and ongoing technological revolutions. In my current position, I am the Division Director of Student and Academic Services where I oversee Educational Technology application services in support of teaching and learning, Executive applications in support of faculty and Chancellor & Provost offices, Athletics IT, and Student Affairs IT. Some of the initiatives I have been a part of are creation of UCI's first learning management system (EEE) and transition to Canvas LMS, systemwide UC Recruit, Academic Personnel Faculty Review collaboration with UCSD, Student Appointment System collaboration with UCD, Cloud/AWS adoption, IT consolidation & organizational restructuring, and very recently the launch of OIT's innovation program. Additionally, I serve as systemwide Educational Technology Leadership Committee (ETLC) chair.
