Bio
JoAnn Pereira is the Finance Co-chair for UCCSC 2018 and was responsible for bringing the budget together on paper and directing/answering many OPP, Policy, and Financial questions.
JoAnn has been a Financial Analyst for over 16 years. She just celebrated her 2 year anniversary as a Budget Analyst for Information and Educational Technology at UC Davis. She started her UCD career in 2014 as a TES employee at UCD Health System’s School of Medicine Academic Personnel Office with a 3-month concurrent time at Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing. She enjoys helping others through training, report writing, and data analysis. She said she’s learned a lot from working for 4 different hospital providers, volunteering for events, being a partner in her husband’s restaurant, and helping remodel their own house to triple its size.
She has a bachelor’s degree in Strategic Management from California State University, Sacramento with a major in Business Administration and a minor in Communication Studies.
