Bio
I work at UC Santa Cruz in a technical leadership role in information security, focusing on cloud security. Before UCSC, I worked as a systems and network engineer in a team working on bioinformatics metadata at Stanford University School of Medicine. In the 20 years preceding that, I served as the security and network architect at a multi-national renewable energy firm, founded and ran multi-stakeholder cooperatives, and worked in a variety of mission-driven environments in and outside of academia.
