Bio
I have over 30 years of experience in the IT industry, having worn many hats including developer, systems administrator, business systems analyst, network administrator, database administrator, instructor and manager. I have published three papers for IEEE on topics such as the design of an "Expert System" for identifying root cause of failures and for creating applications that auto-generate test code. Prior to UCSB I worked as an instructor and developer at Microsoft. Currently I am the Associate Director for IT providing support to the "Design, Facilities and Safety Service" division of the UCSB Admin Services. In my spare time I take photos and create ideas.
