Claire Mizumoto is the Director of Research IT Services. Over the last two years she has formalized the Research Facilitation Program from the successful efforts in the Integrated Digital Infrastructure (IDI) Program which was sponsored by Chancellor Pradeep Khosla and supported by Vice Chancellor Sandra Brown. Research IT Services benefits from her active participation in national organizations of researcher-facing professionals, including the EDUCAUSE/ECAR CyberInfrastructure working group, several CARCC (Campus Research Computing Consortium) working groups, and the ACI-REF (Advanced Cyberinfrastructure-Research and Education Facilitators) Virtual Residency. She is a current member of the Research IT Committee, a standing committee of ITLC and she has over 30 years of service in information technology at UC San Diego. She is an alumna of the institution.
