Bio
Bo Pitsker works as an Enterprise Security Architect in the Information Technology Services (ITS) Enterprise Architecture team. Bo is responsible for development of security principles, standards and guidelines Systemwide. He supports the UC Information Technology Architecture Committee (ITAC), a standing committee of the Information Technology Leadership Council (ITLC). Bo joined UCOP in March, 2014.
Previously Bo worked for Polycom as a Partner Solutions Architect and Security Specialist. Before Polycom, Bo was employed at San Francisco International Airport (SFO) as Lead, Solutions Architecture and Network Manager.
Bo worked at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LBNL) twice; his first period of employment was from 1980 – 1988, and the second was from 2002-2007. He had a variety of responsibilities there, including development of scientific software, networking, editor, web developer, and project management support.
